R-Steryl

• R-steryl is the sorting center used downstream the Ecosteryl. This unique process in the world sorts decontaminated medical waste for recycling.
• R-steryl adapts to each customer: based on the waste to recover and market conditions.
• Typically, the sorted waste can be divided asfollows: 60% as PP (Polypropylene) and PE (Polyethylene) which will be transformed into granules, used as raw materials for the plastics industry; 20% as light waste, used as refuse-derived fuel; 20%, the residual fraction, today not economically valuable, will follow the usual landfill process.

• Microwave is the most eco-friendly solution for infectious medical waste treatment. Proven disinfection at min. 6log10 (reduction of 99.9999%).
• Powerful shredder with an anti-blocking system and waste reduced by 80% of its volume.
• Dry, decontaminated, unrecognizable and recyclable waste.
• The minimum processing capacity of Ecosteryl 250 is 250 kg per hour.
• Ecosteryl 75 is an ideal solution if you have to treat from 2 ton to 7 ton medical waste per day.
• Optional remote monitoring via wi-fi or 4G.
